Each patient seen by Dr. Dao is given individualized treatment in order to address the root cause of illness and to guide the body towards better health. One or more of the following treatments may be used:

Clinical Nutrition: The prescription of therapeutic foods and supplements to relieve your symptoms and restore proper functioning to the body

Acupuncture: Fine needles are inserted into specific points on the body to improve energy flow to the body. Acupuncture rebalances the body and helps to reduce pain

Herbal Medicine: Medicinal herbs are prescribed to work with the body and alleviate symptoms

Homeopathic Medicine:  Remedies are prepared using very small amounts of natural substances. These medicines help to stimulate the body to heal itself

Lifestyle Counseling: Encouraging healthy lifestyle habits to promote better health

What to Expect

 

Your first visit is 90 minutes. In this visit Dr. Dao will review your medical history as well as complete a physical exam in order to assess your health condition. An initial treatment plan will be recommended at the end of this visit.

Subsequent visits are 30 – 60 minutes in length. Your progress will be monitored to ensure you are achieving your health goals.

Tests Offered

 

Additional tests may be ordered to help in your health assessment. Some common tests that are performed include:

Food Allergy testinga simple finger prick test is performed in office to determine any foods allergies.

Hair Mineral analysis – provides information of your body’s exposure to heavy metals and gives a reference point of your nutritional mineral status.

Koenisburg Adrenal testing a urine test that measures adrenal health and energy reserves.

Saliva Hormone testing – Saliva is a more sensitive tissue than blood in determining your hormone status. This type of hormone testing helps to target your treatment to achieve optimal hormone balance.

Stomach acid testing a pH test that measures the stomach's ability to produce stomach acid. Low stomach acid is often the cause of poor digestion.
